Arrowhead

Ray Floyd and Tom Jackson have created a quality 27-hole facility along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach. Each nine-hole layout is unique, featuring uncommon elevations, hardwood wetlands and well-manicured holes that is gaining a lot of popularity. Arrowhead has a number of difficult holes that consistently bring water into play. We found it to be a a great challenge and rather scenic. It also happens to be in a great central location that is easlily accessed from River Oaks, Wild Wing, or the Legends. It is a ForeCaddie Favorite as an upper-mid level course.

Barefoot - Dye

Famed architect Pete Dye maintains his reputation of building memorable-and challenging-courses with the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort. This visually stunning design is filled with Dye's infamous pitfalls for wary shots. Working with exceptional elevations and an excellent site, this course lives up to the Dye name. Dye's course is one of four Championship Golf Courses built concurrently at North Myrtle Beach's 2,377 acre Barefoot Resort, and is the only one of the four to be semi-private. Be warned, this is a beautiful, but, rather difficult course. Be ready for a challenge.

Carolina native and leading PGA TOUR professional Davis Love, III built a great Barefoot course. It differntiates itself at the Barefoot complex by being a long course with open fairways and even a replica of ruins from and antebellum plantation house similar to ruins found throughout the Lowcountry. There is even a hole that one of the ruins can help you from going over the green. Yes, we've had to chip off the wall. This is a great course. Don't miss it.
